Two vehicles at 24 Hour Fitness in the Arnold Crossroads complex recently were broken into and items were stolen from them, Arnold Police report.
The thefts happened between 7:45 p.m. and 9 p.m. July 29, when someone broke out a passenger window on each of the vehicles to get inside and steal items, the report said.
A wallet and a purse that contained a cell phone and other items, altogether valued at $234, were stolen from one vehicle. A credit card that was inside the wallet was later used in Pevely, according to the report.
A wallet that contained $80 in cash and a $100 Walmart money card, altogether valued at $200, were stolen from the other vehicle, the report said.
As of Aug. 7, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
