The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the recent theft of a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup from the parking lot at Kenny’s Bar and Grill, 7045 Hwy. 61-67, in Barnhart. The pickup was stolen overnight between Nov. 10 and Nov. 11, a report said.
The victim said he parked the pickup at the bar at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and participated in an overnight billiard tournament there. He said he last saw the truck on the lot between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., and he estimated that it was stolen between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Nov. 11, according to the report.
He told deputies the pickup was unlocked and he believed the keys were in the ignition. The truck was valued at $15,000, the report said.
As of Nov. 17, the truck had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
