Arnold Police believe the same person persons could be responsible for vehicle break-ins at two gyms. Both break-ins occurred on Dec. 11 – one at Club Fitness and the other at Dungeon-Titone Pro Gym, Lt. Clinton Woolridge said.
The first break-in occurred between 2:40-3:40 p.m. outside Club Fitness, 2218 Michigan Ave., where a window was broken on the back driver-side of a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro. A purse was stolen from the car, Arnold Police reported.
The victim, a 62-year-old High Ridge woman, said the purse contained credit cards, debit cards and $25 in cash. The purse and its contents were valued at $603, the report said.
The second break-in occurred between 5:50-7:20 p.m. at Dungeon-Titone Pro Gym, 2010 Key West Drive. In that incident, the passenger-side window was broken on a 2019 Toyota Highlander. The victim, a 60-year-old Dardenne Prairie woman, told police a Hewlett-Packard laptop, computer bag and folders were stolen from the SUV. Those items were valued at $1,070, according to the report.
As of Dec. 26, there were no suspects and none of the missing items had been located, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
