Arnold Police recently responded to a call about two women fighting outside the Jungle Nights Hookah Lounge. When officers arrived, they found a 56-year-old Arnold woman and a 19-year-old St. Louis woman who allegedly had a physical altercation outside the night spot, 469 Jeffco Blvd., police reported.
The incident happened about 9:35 p.m. Aug. 9, the report said.
The Arnold woman told police she drove to the lounge because she believed the 19-year-old was supplying her daughter, a 20-year-old St. Louis woman, with drugs. The officers found the Arnold woman’s daughter in the passenger seat of a 2017 Jeep Renegade, and she appeared to be unconscious and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the report.
The Arnold woman said she tracked her daughter using her phone and found the 19-year-old in the driver seat of her daughter’s Jeep and her daughter passed out in the passenger seat, the report said.
The Arnold woman told officers she dragged the 19-year-old out of the Jeep, and the teenager started hitting her in the head and face. The 19-year-old allegedly told police that when the Arnold woman pulled her out of the Jeep, she hit the Arnold woman, according to the report.
Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said neither women was arrested, but Arnold Police sent reports to the Arnold Prosecuting Attorney to decide if assault charges will be sought against either woman.
