Arnold Police arrested a 21-year-old Hillsboro man and a 37-year-old Arnold man following an apparent road rage incident that ended in the Arnold Crossroads shopping plaza parking lot off Hwy. 141. The two men allegedly assaulted each other, police reported.
Arnold Police reported no one was injured.
Officers were called at about 10:20 p.m. Jan. 11 to the shopping plaza after the men engaged in what was described as a “mutual physical altercation.” The Arnold man was driving a 2022 Honda Odyssey, and the Hillsboro man was driving a pickup, the report said.
Arnold Police did not provide additional information about the pickup.
After the physical altercation, the Hillsboro man allegedly kicked the Arnold man’s van, causing a dent. An estimated cost to repair the damage was not available, according to the report.
Each of the men was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged assault, and the Hillsboro man also was issued a summons for alleged property damage, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
