A 21-year-old Arnold man and a 19-year-old Imperial woman recently were arrested for allegedly shoplifting at the Walmart store in Arnold, Arnold Police report.
In addition, an alleged accomplice – a 20-year-old Arnold man – was arrested for alleged possession of brass knuckles, which is illegal, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.
Just after midnight on July 4, police got a call that the 21-year-old man and the Imperial woman had allegedly stolen $43 in items from the store, including Sharpies, nail polish, deodorant and phone cases, Ruckman said.
While the two suspects were being escorted to police vehicles, officers noticed that the 20-year-old man was waiting for the suspects in the parking lot and was attempting to leave, Arnold Police reported.
Officers allegedly found him with concealed brass knuckles.
All three were booked and then released on summonses to appear in Municipal Court, the report said.
