A TV and appliances recently were stolen from a home on Milanna Drive in the Arnold area. The burglary was reported July 11, but the items may have been stolen anytime between May 1 and that date, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The victim told deputies that a neighbor called her and reported that a red truck was at the home, which is vacant, and a man was inside. So, the victim went to check on the house and found the items missing, the report said.

It appeared that someone broke a bedroom window to get inside the home and steal the items. In addition to a flat-screen TV, stolen items included a washer and dryer. In all, the items were valued at $1,350, according to the report.

As of July 14, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
