Freddie A. Tucker II, 37, of Pevely, a prior offender, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possession of methamphetamine, according to court records.
In January 2015, a deputy who was transporting Tucker to the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro noticed a small cut on the inside of his pants and inside was concealed a container filled with meth, the probable-cause statement said.
Tucker, formerly of Pacific, pleaded guilty to one count of felony possession of a controlled substance, and on August 11, 2016, Jefferson County Div. 4 Circuit Judge Mark T. Stoll sentenced him to 10 years in prison, the report said.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Trisha C. Stefanski handled the case.
That 10-year sentence is to be served concurrent, or at the same time, with several other prison terms he previously was sentenced to.
In March 2012, Tucker was sentenced to a seven-year and a four-year term for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia stemming from an April 2010 incident in Jefferson County.
He was sentenced in June 2012 to six years for possession of a controlled substance tied to a November 2011 incident in Jefferson County.
In July 2015, Tucker was sentenced to two years for receiving stolen property connected to a March 2013 incident in Jefferson County.
Tucker currently is in the Maryville Treatment Center.
