A trailer filled with tools recently was stolen from outside a home in the 1700 block of Engle Drive in Arnold. The trailer was recovered soon after the theft was reported, but most of the tools are still missing, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said Friday (Oct. 20).
Between 9 p.m. Sept. 11 and 7:20 a.m. Sept. 12, the 16-foot-long trailer was stolen. It was valued at $3,570. In addition, tools worth about $13,223 were stolen, a report said.
On Sept. 12, St. Louis Police recovered the trailer with a few of the tools inside. As of Friday, there were no suspects or arrests, Jones said.
