Festus Police are investigating the recent theft of a trailer from a work site on Frisco Street, Chief Doug Wendel said.
He said the victim, a 67-year-old Festus man, reported the theft on July 8.
“It’s a truck bed made into a trailer,” he said. “He noticed it was missing June 29. He did not report it until July 8 because he looked for other items that may have been stolen at the site. It’s a renovation project.”
No other items were reported stolen, Wendel said.
He said the trailer was valued at $500.
As of July 18, the trailer had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, Wendel said. Anyone with information is urged to contact Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
