Festus Police are investigating the theft of a trailer parked outside a home in the 600 block of Ann Street. The burglary was reported Dec. 8, Chief Tim Lewis said.
The victim, a 39-year-old Festus man, told police he kept the 2019 Carry-On 10-foot-long, open-bed trailer at his parents’ house because he does not have room to park it at his home. He said he noticed it was missing on Dec. 8.
“It was parked behind the house,” Lewis said. “It’s a 2019. I don’t think he had it very long.”
Lewis said Festus Police had no estimated value for the trailer. Anyone with information about the theft is urged to call Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
