A trailer and a shed, together valued at about $11,000, were stolen from outside a home in the 4000 block of Flucom Meadows east of De Soto. The thefts occurred between Aug. 9 and Aug. 11, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim said the black, homemade trailer is 6-by-14 feet, and American Steel prefabricated shed is 25-by-40 feet. He said both items were on his property when he left for a camping trip and gone when he returned home, the report said.
As of Aug. 20, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no arrests, Sgt. Matthew Moore said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 636-797-5515.
