The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a trailer and two jet skis from a home in the 4100 block of Plattin Road south of Festus. The theft happened between Nov. 17-20, police reported.
The Sheriff’s Office does not provide estimated values for stolen items.
The victim said he left town on Nov. 17, and on Nov. 20, he discovered the trailer that had two jet skis had been stolen. He said the trailer was stored in a lower-level carport behind the home, the report said.
As of Nov. 22, neither the trailer nor jet skis had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
