A trailer, an ATV and mowers recently were stolen from property in the 5300 block of Hwy. B in the Hillsboro area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The theft occurred Sept. 16 while the victim was at work, the report said.
All the stolen items had been located outside the victim’s home. They included a 2003 L&D, 16-foot, flat-bed utility trailer; a 2004 Arctic Cat ATV; a Craftsman 18-horsepower riding mower; and a Yard Machine 13.5-horsepower riding mower. In all, the items were valued at $4,900, according to the report.
The trailer belonged to the victim’s brother, the report said.
As of Sept. 25, none of the items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
