Someone stole toy cars worth $1,200 from a De Soto garage last weekend.
At 10:39 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 21), a woman flagged down an officer patrolling the neighborhood in the 200 block of East Second Street, De Soto Police Capt. Mike McMunn said.
“Apparently, sometime after 8 p.m. on the 20th, $1,200 worth of toy cars were stolen from her garage,” McMunn said. “The woman named a male suspect by his first name, but there is no evidence to support the allegation. She did not see him take them and no witness has come forward.”
There was no forced entry to the garage, McMunn said.
The officer who took the report is waiting for a list of toy cars that were stolen, McMunn added.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call De Soto Police at 636-586-3326.
