A hammer drill and masonry tools were stolen from an unlocked tool box in a pickup parked outside the Meramec Valley Apartments off Telegraph Road in Arnold. Together, the tools were valued at $600, Arnold Police reported.
The theft occurred at 11:17 p.m. Dec. 30, and witnesses told police they saw two people wearing ski masks take the tools from the 2004 Ford F-150. The alleged thieves then got into a white, four-door passenger vehicle with black rims and were last seen driving north on Telegraph Road, the report said.
As of Jan. 10, the stolen items had been recovered and there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the theft should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
