Tools and electronics recently were stolen from a home under construction on Stonebridge Place in the Festus area. The theft happened between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Nov. 19, while the victim who was working on the house was away for a few hours, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

The stolen items, including two Titan paint sprayers, a Huskey LED light tripod and a Ridgid two-speaker Bluetooth system, belonged to the construction worker. The items were valued at $1,250.77, the report said.

The tools were left inside the house, which didn’t have doors yet, according to the report.

As of Wednesday (Nov. 30), the tools had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Lt. Gary Higginbotham said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
