slashed tire

A 26-year-old Arnold woman returned to Zingers gas station, 1502 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold to find all four of the tires on her SUV slashed after she left the vehicle parked near an air pump at the station on Christmas night. Arnold Police got a call at about 4:15 p.m. Dec. 26 about the damage to the SUV, police reported.

The owner of the 2007 Jeep Commander told police she had a low tire but was unable to fill it the night before and was given permission by a station employee to leave it parked overnight at the station. When she returned the next day to get the SUV, she found the tires slashed. The damage was estimated at $1,000, the report said.

As of Jan. 7, there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
