Someone broke into the De Soto Mo Pac Credit Union early Saturday morning (Jan. 31) and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, De Soto Police Detective Rick Draper reports.
Draper said authorities are investigating the incident, trying to identify and find the burglar.
The credit union is at 418 N. Main St.
“We got a call from the alarm company about 2 a.m. and our officers arrived quickly, but whoever it was went in and out in literally under a minute,” Draper said. “The person entered through the front glass door – they busted it out. It looks like one person.”
He said the credit union’s camera footage shows the suspect fleeing north.
“We have the different camera views and we’re following leads,” Draper said.
Police have not released a description of the suspect, he said.
