bullet holes in car

Arnold Police are investigating damage to an SUV that appears to have been caused by bullets shot from a car on Tenbrook Road, authorities reported.

Police were called at 11:59 p.m. Jan. 21 after a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the 2300 block of Tenbrook Road was hit with bullets. There was a bullet hole in the driver’s-side window and a bullet was found lodged in the interior of the passenger’s-side door. The damage was estimated at $500, the report said.

Officers also found a bullet hole in a stop sign at the corner of Emil Drive and Tenbrook Road, according to the report.

A 35-year-old Arnold man owns the Tahoe and had surveillance video that reportedly showed a dark color passenger car headed west on Tenbrook Road turn off its lights and pass the home at the time shots were fired.

There were no other reports of shots on Tenbrook Road that night, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
