An 18-year-old St. Louis man was arrested three days after he allegedly stole an SUV from outside a home in the 1600 block of Stardust Drive in Arnold. The victim, a 37-year-old Arnold man, said the 2019 Nissan Rogue had been left unlocked and running when it was stolen, Arnold Police reported.
The SUV, which was stolen on Jan. 2, was valued at $20,000. On Jan. 5, St. Louis County Police located the SUV in St. Louis County and arrested the teenager. It was not clear if the teen was inside the Rogue at the time of the arrest, Det. Lt. Jason Valentine said.
Valentine said the St. Louis County Police report did not indicate if the Rogue was still operational.
