Arnold Police are looking for a 29-year-old St. Louis man who allegedly drove through a metal fence at Life Storage, 3850 Vogel Road, while fleeing from police. The man was wanted on outstanding warrants, and officers were trying to arrest him after he was spotted at the storage business, Capt. Rich Shular said.
The man was wanted by St. Louis and Kirkwood police on felony first-degree harassment warrants, and Kirkwood Police had contacted Arnold Police to arrest the man, who had been seen in the area, the report said.
At 7:38 a.m. March 23, the man was driving a 2007 Dodge Ram on the storage business parking lot when police caught up with him. As officers approached the pickup from behind, the man drove through the fence located between storage units. The damage to the fence was estimated at about $1,000, according to the report.
The Ram was last seen traveling north on I-55, and as of April 2, the man had not been located, Shular said. Anyone with information about the man’s location should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
