Arnold Police recently arrested a 40-year-old St. Louis man for alleged drug possession and an outstanding warrant.

Police received a call about suspicious activity in the area, and at 12:38 p.m. June 3, an officer spotted the man outside the Zingers convenience store, 1502 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold and stopped to question him, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

The St. Louis man allegedly was found with a baggie filled with a white powder substance believed to be a controlled substance, the report said.

In addition, the man had a $150 bond an outstanding warrant from Jefferson County for traffic violations, according to the report.

Another person was with the suspect but was not arrested, Ruckman said.

The St. Louis man was booked and held for Jefferson County authorities.

Arnold Police will seek felony drug possession charges against him, pending lab results, but as of June 12, none had been filed, Ruckman said.
