An 18-year-old St. Louis man was arrested for allegedly stealing a car from the 3100 block of North Bayshore Parkway in Arnold. The theft occurred between 6 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6:40 a.m. Aug. 6, Arnold Police reported.
Authorities identified the man as a suspect, and after police tracked him down, the teenager allegedly told officers where the car was located. The car, a Fiesta, was recovered Aug. 7 on Broadway in St. Louis, the report said.
Arnold Police will seek a felony stealing charge against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
