Arnold Police are trying to find a 32-year-old St. Louis man who allegedly ran over his former girlfriend outside the woman’s home on Melton Drive. The woman was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.
Officers got a call at about 10:55 p.m. May 14 about the incident. They had been called to the home on April 25 for a previous alleged domestic violence incident, the report said.
The woman told officers she had been trying to get her 2016 Kia Sportage back from the man, and he had driven it to her house that night. She said they argued about the vehicle, and then when she tried to get some of her belongings out of it, the man allegedly pushed her and she fell under the SUV, according to the report.
The man then allegedly ran over when he backed out of the driveway and fled from the area. The woman was expected to be released from the hospital on May 16 after being treated for numerous cuts and bruises, the report said.
As of May 16, neither the SUV, which is worth about $5,000, nor the man had been located, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said.
