Eureka Police arrested a Six Flags employee, a 19-year-old Florissant woman, for allegedly stealing one of her co-worker’s wallets and a pair of shorts from one of the amusement park’s shops, police reported.

Officers were called at about 1:30 p.m. July 12 to the park, 4900 Six Flags Road. When they arrived, the woman was trying to leave a room where she was being held by park security, the report said.

An officer stopped her from leaving and arrested the woman, according to the report.

The park security employee told police the woman had attempted to use a credit card from the stolen wallet. The woman also allegedly punched one of the park security employees twice, according to the report.

The woman was taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and released, the report said.

Eureka Police issued the woman summons to appear in Eureka Municipal Court for alleged fraudulent use of a credit device, misdemeanor stealing and misdemeanor assault, Capt. Michael Werges said.
