The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a pickup stolen from outside the Shanty, 1663 S. Old Hwy. 141, in the Fenton area. The pickup was left running on the parking lot when it was stolen, the report said.
The theft happened about 7 p.m. May 30, and as of Wednesday (July 5), the pickup still had not been recovered, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
The victim told deputies he parked the pickup at the store, which sells cigarettes, beer and other items, and left it running and went inside the store. When he came out a short time later, the pickup was gone, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The pickup, a red 2010 Ford F350 with Kentucky license plates, was valued at $30,000.
As of Wednesday, there were no suspects or arrests, Moore said. He asks anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
