The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a car from the 3700 block of Athena School Road in the De Soto area. The theft happened between 1 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. July 20, the report said.
The car, a brown 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, was valued at $12,000. As of today (Aug. 7), it had not been recovered, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
The victim said she had left the keys in the car, which was parked in a driveway when it was stolen.
There were no suspects or arrests as of today, Moore said. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
