The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at a home in the 4400 block of Bristol Bend in High Ridge.

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. March 25, someone forced open the front door and stole $600 in cash and some necklaces, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Sheriff’s Office had no information about what the stolen necklaces look like or their value.

Two jewelry boxes were taken as evidence, the report said.

During the investigation, a neighbor reported hearing a loud “pop” at about 1:30 p.m. that day but didn’t think it was suspicious at the time, according to the report.

As of Thursday (April 2), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.

He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
