The Sheriff's Office is asking for help to identify this man who allegedly robbed a Circle K in High Ridge today.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an armed robber who allegedly stole cash from the Circle K in the 5600 block of Hwy. PP in High Ridge. The robbery occurred at 2:44 a.m. today (Sept. 21), a report said.

The suspect allegedly entered the convenience store, and approached the clerk at the service counter, displaying a gun and demanding money from the cash register. The cashier complied, handing the money to the robber, who then fled, according to the report.

The Sheriff’s Office would not disclose how much money was stolen, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

There were no similar robberies in the area, according to the report.

The suspect is a white man and was wearing a red bandanna over his face. He also was wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, beige pants and black shoes, the report said.

A photo of the man entering the store was taken from surveillance footage. Anyone who recognizes the man or who has information about the robbery is asked to call the Sheriff’ Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
