The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating recent damage to garage doors and locks at a Missouri Department of Transportation maintenance facility in the 4000 block of Hwy. 110 in the De Soto area, Lt. Gary Higginbotham says.
Between 3:30 p.m. Nov. 22 and 7:50 a.m. Nov. 23, someone used bolt cutters to cut locks on storage containers and damaged garage doors when trying to force them open, causing about $1,115 in damage. Nothing appeared to be stolen, the report said.
As of Wednesday (Dec. 7), there were no suspects or arrests, Higginbotham said. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
