crime tape and magnifying glass

Tools and other items worth about $3,150 recently were stolen from a storage trailer parked at the intersection of Sunpark Spur and Saline Road in the Fenton area. Between 5 p.m. May 19 and 6 a.m. May 20, someone cut a lock off the trailer, which belongs to the Gershenson Construction Co. of Eureka, and stole the items, says Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Stolen items included a Stihl concrete saw, a Skil circular saw, a smart level, a Wacker Neuson generator, a Stihl leaf blower and a Bosch impact drill set. As of June 2, none of the stolen items had been recovered, Higginbotham said.

He said there were no suspects or arrests either. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
