A skid steer valued at $10,000 was reported stolen between June 7 and June 8 at a residence south of Festus, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The incident occurred in the 11000 block of Hwy. C when the victim, who had loaned the 1998 LX885 New Holland black and orange skid steer to a family member, found it missing at about 8 a.m. June 8 when she went to the family member’s residence to retrieve it, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
As of June 29 the skid steer had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, Moore said.
