The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating recent property damage and thefts from a House Springs self storage business in the 6300 block of Hwy. MM. The incident happened between noon April 17 and 9 a.m. April 22, the report said.
The culprits entered an unfenced section on the storage company’s lot and damaged three commercial air-conditioning units that were being stored there and stole parts, including copper tubing, from them. In all, the damage was estimated at $13,500, according to the report.
None of the stolen parts had been recovered as of Wednesday (April 26). There were no suspects or arrests either. Anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
