Cash, electronics and jewelry recently were stolen from a home in the 3200 block of Stonehouse Road in the De Soto area. The burglary happened between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. May 2, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

It looked like someone got into the house through an unlocked door and then stole money, including some old currency, as well as two iPads and miscellaneous jewelry. In all, the cash and other stolen items were valued at $2,000, the report said.

As of Tuesday (May 23), none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
