The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested three men and a woman, all from St. Louis, in connection with a recent burglary at a home in the 3400 block of Marigold Road in Imperial, Lt. Gary Higginbotham says.
At about 10:40 p.m. Nov. 25, the Sheriff’s Office got a call about a burglary at the Imperial home with a description of the vehicle the culprits were leaving in, and a deputy spotted the vehicle nearby and stopped it. Items stolen during the burglary reportedly were in plain sight inside the vehicle, and the four people in the vehicle allegedly admitted to the burglary, the report said.
Stolen items included an Xbox 360 console with a controller and a variety of games; a flashlight; and a box. In all, the items were valued at $450. They were recovered and returned to the owner, Higginbotham said.
The four suspects – two 18-year-old men, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman – were taken into custody, booked and released pending application for warrants. The Sheriff’s Office will seek second-degree burglary charges against them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Higginbotham said.
