The Arnold Police are investigating the theft of roofing material from the Gateway Food Pantry, 2024 Key West Drive. The material belonged to Geissler Roofing of Belleville, Ill., police reported.
A roll of TPO roofing material was stolen at about 7:30 p.m. July 20. Three people were seen in surveillance video loading the roll into a silver pickup that had a ladder rack, the report said.
An estimated value of the material was not provided, but the roll is worth more than $750, which would make the theft a felony, according to the report.
As of Aug. 4, the material had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
