The Eureka Police are investigating the theft of a purse from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 600 block of Meramec View Drive, Lt. David Wilson said.
The theft occurred about 7 p.m. June 29 after a woman left her car unlocked with the garage door open. The purse contained $410 in cash, credit cards and prepaid cards, according to the report.
Wilson said today (July 11) that the purse and its contents had not been recovered and there were no suspects. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
