Arnold Police recently got a call about an overdose at a home in the 2000 block of Kimmy Lane and allegedly found the victim, a 30-year-old Arnold man, with heroin. That incident occurred May 10, Arnold Police report.
The same man was found Feb. 11 at a home on Rockview Circle in Arnold where a relative, a 60-year-old St. Louis man, reportedly died of a drug overdose, and the Arnold man allegedly stole a debit card and other items that belonged to his relative, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
Several weeks later, on March 31, Arnold Police were called to the same home on Rockview Circle after the Arnold man reportedly overdosed. He was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, Jones said.
The next day, on April 1, the Arnold man was found at the same Rockview Circle home where a 43-year-old Springfield, Ill., man allegedly overdosed. That victim was transported to St. Anthony’s Medical Center and survived, Jones said.
During the May 10 incident at the home on Kimmy Lane, Arnold Police allegedly found the Arnold man with 19 capsules with a substance believed to be heroin, a large number of empty capsules, needles and a syringe filled with a liquid believed to be heroin, the report said.
Depending on lab results from the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek felony drug and stealing charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Jones said.
As of Wednesday (May 31), no charges had been filed, he said.
