Arnold Police are investigating a recent theft of a magazine stand from the Arnold Branch of the Jefferson County Library, 1701 Missouri State Road. The theft happened at about 5:45 p.m. July 20, the report said.
Surveillance footage showed a white woman remove the catalog stand from the library foyer and then load it into a white Ford Explorer that had another white woman inside. After loading the stand in the SUV, they drove off, according to the report.
As of July 27, the stand, valued at $350, had not been recovered. No suspects had been identified, and no arrests had been made either, said Capt. Bill Bonsack. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
