Arnold Police are seeking charges against a 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both of Arnold, in connection with the recent theft of a car from outside a home in the 1600 block of Kirkham Drive. The car, a 2007 Buick Lucerne, was stolen from the driveway between 10 p.m. June 19 and 7 a.m. June 20, Arnold Police reported.
At 9 a.m. June 21, St. Louis County Police spotted the car, which had been reported stolen, and found the man and woman inside, Arnold Police Detective Lt. James Jones said.
St. Louis County Police turned over the man to Arnold Police, who booked him and released him pending application for warrants. St. Louis County Police turned over the woman, however, to medical personnel, so Arnold Police have not arrested her yet, Jones said June 28.
Arnold Police will seek felony charges against both of them through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. But, no charges had been filed as of today, Jones said.
