Arnold Police are seeking someone who recently was driving a yellow Toyota FJ Cruiser and allegedly left the scene of two accidents, one right after the other. The two accidents happened about 8:40 p.m. May 18, the report said.
The driver reportedly was headed south in the Cruiser at I-55 and Hwy. 141 in Arnold and struck the rear passenger quarter panel on a 2011 Dodge Caliber and left the scene.
The driver also allegedly backed into a 2005 Chevrolet Impala, damaging the front bumper, and left the scene of that accident, too, the report said.
Detective Lt. James Jones said the name of a business was written on the side of the suspect vehicle, so police are following up on that lead.
Jones said no one was hurt in the accidents. He also said Arnold Police didn’t have an estimate for the damage to the vehicles.
