Arnold Police are investigating recent thefts from four vehicles parked around the city. All the vehicles were unlocked, the report said.
One theft happened between 6 p.m. Nov. 9 and 12:47 p.m. Nov. 10 in the 2100 block of East Highview, where someone got into a vehicle and stole an engagement ring, cigarettes, credit and debit cards, and identification. In all, the items were valued at $634, according to the report.
Between 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and 8 a.m. Nov. 10, someone got inside a vehicle parked in the 1800 block of Edgemont and stole coats, a purse and other items. Those stolen items were valued at $955, the report said.
Another theft happened between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9 and 7 a.m. Nov. 10 in the 2200 block of Mel, where someone got into a vehicle and stole a GPS device and a magazine to a gun. Those items were valued at $160.
Between 9 p.m. Nov. 11 and 7:15 a.m. Nov. 12 someone got into a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Lamp Post Lane and stole an iPhone 5 valued at $200, the report said.
As of Nov. 22, none of the stolen items were recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He advises people against leaving valuables in their vehicles and also asks people to lock their vehicles.
