The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a pickup left unlocked and running outside a QuikTrip gas station, 2600 Old Hwy. 141, in unincorporated Fenton. The tan 2010 Ford F-150 was valued at about $15,000, spokesman Grant Bissell said.
The victim told deputies she borrowed the pickup from her roommate. She said she saw the Ford being driven away on Nov. 30 while she was inside the convenience store and last saw it traveling west on Hwy. 21, the report said.
As of Dec. 14, the pickup had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
