A pickup was stolen from outside a Mobil On the Run gas station, 102 Delores Drive, in unincorporated Fenton. A gun and other items were in the red 2012 Dodge Ram when it was stolen about 6:15 a.m. May 26, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim said he left the pickup unlocked with the keys on the pickup’s floorboard when he went into the gas station’s convenience store. When he returned, the pickup was gone, the report said.
A tan SCCY 9mm gun and numerous tools were in the pickup. Altogether, the pickup, gun and tools were valued at $38,525, according to the report.
As of June 8, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
