A pickup stolen from Triple C Lawn Care in the 4000 block of Old Hwy. 21 in Imperial was quickly recovered not far away. The pickup, a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500, was stolen between 7 p.m. June 8 and 8:15 a.m. June 9 and was recovered June 9 on Hwy. 61-67 in Imperial, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim said he showed up to his business at 8:15 a.m. June 9 and found the gate to the business damaged and the pickup missing from the lot. He told deputies the pickup had been parked in the lot the previous evening, and the keys to it had been left in an unsecured fuel tank box in the bed of the pickup, the report said.
On June 9, the pickup was recovered in the 6000 block of Hwy. 61/67 in Imperial and returned to the owner. As of June 15, there were no arrests, Lt. Matthew Moore said.
