A pickup recently stolen from a Festus-area business was later recovered in Desloge, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
According to the report, a 2004 Ford F-250 was discovered stolen June 15 from the parking lot of Two Car Guys, 2852 Hwy. 67. The green and tan pickup is valued at $13,000.
On June 28, Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Matthew Moore reported the pickup was recovered June 27 in Desloge. The vehicle had the tailgate missing and the ignition “was tampered with,” Moore said.
No arrests have been made and the victim was notified the vehicle had been recovered, he said.
