A pickup that belongs to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources was stolen from the Drury Inn parking lot, 3800 Hwy. 141. The theft happened between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. June 11, and four other vehicles parked at the hotel were broken into during the same time frame, Arnold Police reported.
The DNR’s 2009 Chevrolet 3500 was valued at $26,500, and the pickup contained about $10,000 worth of tools when it was stolen, the report said.
The driver-side door handle on a 2013 Ford F-350 also was damaged during the time period. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the F-350, but the damage to the pickup was estimated at $500, according to the report.
A window was broken on the driver-side door of a 2014 Toyota Rav4, and a .40-caliber Glock 22 was stolen from the SUV. The damage to the Rav4 was estimated at $200, and the gun was valued at $200, the report said.
The driver-side door handle on a 2007 GMC Sierra also was broken, and a wallet containing debit and credit cards, along with $160 in cash, was stolen. The damage to the Sierra was estimated at $200, according to the report.
A window on the passenger side of a 2018 Nissan Altima was broken. Nothing was reported stolen from the car, but the damage to the window was estimated at $200, the report said.
As of June 18, the pickup and the other stolen items had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
