A pickup recently was stolen from outside a home in the 3800 block of Treebrook Drive in Imperial. In addition, a car parked outside the home was damaged, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

At about 9 p.m. Aug. 29, someone stole a blue 1990 blue Chevrolet pickup that was parked in a spot outside the home. Someone also slashed four tires on a black 2014 Ford Fusion parked next to the pickup and left deep scratches on the hood of the car. The pickup was valued at $1,000, and the damage to the car was estimated at $1,328, the report said.

A deputy viewed surveillance video from a nearby property and saw the pickup driven away from the home. Also, fingerprints were taken off the car and entered as evidence, according to the report.

As of Sept. 13, though, the pickup had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
