Pevely Police are investigating an attempted break-in at an apartment. A woman who lives in the apartment reportedly saw a man try to break in, Chief Mark Glenn said.
The incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Pevely Pointe Apartments in the 900 block of Pevely Pointe Drive, Glenn said.

When she went to investigate the noise, she discovered the room’s window had been shattered and screamed. She also reportedly saw a man outside the window turn and run away, the report said.
Officers were called to the scene and found a pry bar they believe had been used in the attempted break-in, Glenn said.
